New England effort to promote family well-being and economic mobility honored by American Public Human Services Association
In June, the Whole Family Approach to Jobs initiative – a New England effort to promote family well-being and economic mobility through the collaboration of state agencies, policymakers, parents, and the private sector – received the Future of Human Services Award from the American Public Human Services Association. The award recognized the group’s work to address benefit cliffs.
The John T. Gorman Foundation has been privileged to participate in the initiative’s work for several years, with staff co-leading Maine’s team since its launch and supporting the release of a recent report on benefit cliffs. Congratulations to all the partners involved in this important initiative.
