The Roux Institute at Northeastern University

Alicia joined Northeastern University’s Roux Institute in 2022 as Manager of Community Partnerships to foster collaboration with mission-driven organizations and Maine K-12 institutions. Prior to this role, she led Lewiston Public Schools’ computer science program, significantly expanding STEM opportunities for students across the district. Initially a social-studies teacher, she recognized technology’s potential to strengthen student learning and pivoted to support educational technology adoption. Today, she leads initiatives to broaden K-12 student access to future STEM careers and strategically collaborates with organizations to enhance their impact.

Alicia received her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and anticipates completing her Master’s Degree in Project Management from Northeastern University by the end of 2024. Her overall passion for education continues to drive her commitment to creating transformative experiences for all learners.
