Genevieve most recently worked for Maine Indian Education as the RREV (Rethinking Responsive Education Ventures) Pilot Project Lead, weaving Wabanaki teachings into middle-school classrooms. She has also worked as a content creator and advisor to the Maine Department of Education to create Wabanaki Studies materials. Previously, her work focused on social service programming. She has managed programs for Wabanaki Public Health and the Passamaquoddy Tribe, focusing on maternal and child health and medical social work.
Genevieve earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maine. She is a board member for the Maine College Circle and serves on the Sipayik Resilience Committee.
