Currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent/Special Education Director of St. George MSU, Jessica has over a decade of experience as an educator and administrator in the MidCoast. Her expertise includes child development, trauma-informed practices, early intervention, and special-education programming. Jessica’s interest and passion for at-risk populations has led her to take on community-level advocacy work, including convening the MidCoast Community Collaborative. Under her leadership, the collaborative has grown to a network of 70 community organizations working together to support the growth and development of healthy children and families in Lincoln and Knox Counties.
Jessica is a graduate of the University of New England, where she earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership, Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies in Inclusion Education, and, most recently, her Doctor of Education Degree. She wrote her dissertation on trauma-informed practices in school systems.
