Maine Department of Health and Human Services

Mariette leads the coordination of efforts within the Department of Health and Human Services, and across other state agencies, to strengthen and support families in Maine. This includes oversight of the development and implementation of the Child Safety and Family Well-Being Plan, in partnership with the Maine Child Welfare Action Network. The plan establishes a framework for a coordinated child and family well-being system that keeps children safe by keeping families strong.

Mariette previously worked as a policy analyst at the Washington D.C.-based Bipartisan Policy Center, with a focus on higher education and workforce development. She has a Bachelor’s in Economics and Francophone Studies from Bowdoin College and a Master of Public Policy from Duke University.
