Stephanie leads the team at Maine’s statewide child advocacy organization, working to improve public policy and systems to improve the lives of Maine children, youth, and families. She is passionate about creating positive change through the Maine Children’s Alliance’s key strategies of legislative and administrative advocacy; data collection and analysis; building coalition partnerships; and elevating parent voice. Before making the move to non-profit leadership, Stephanie worked for 12 years as a program officer for foundations in Maine, managing grant programs and building expertise in several areas, including early childhood development and anti-poverty strategies.
Stephanie holds a BA from Tufts University, a master’s degree in Public Policy from Duke University, and served as a Javits Fellow in the U.S. Senate.
